The pattern behind the symptoms

Perimenopause isn't one thing. That's why generic advice doesn't help.

Clinically, what I see time and again is women being handed the same three pieces of advice — sleep more, stress less, try HRT — regardless of what's actually driving their symptoms. But perimenopause shows up differently depending on the pattern underneath it: some women are dealing with oestrogen swings that spike before they crash, others with a slower decline compounded by an already-stretched stress response.
