🌿 Receive an individualised plan based on your health history, symptoms and goals.

It's about thoughtful, evidence-based care that's tailored to you.

Hi, I'm Marie.
I'm a Registered Medical Herbalist with a special interest in women's hormone health.
Over the years, I've supported women experiencing everything from PMOS and painful periods to perimenopause, fatigue and complex hormone symptoms that often don't fit neatly into one diagnosis.
One thing I've learnt is this:
No blood test, scan or diagnosis can ever tell me as much as the woman sitting in front of me.
That's why I take the time to listen first.
Because when we understand the whole story, we can make far better decisions about how to support your health.

Every woman's journey is different.
That's why I've created several ways to begin, depending on where you are right now.

No fluff — just a clear, evidence-based overview of the key hormone-related conditions affecting mood: PMOS, PMDD, perimenopause and more.
If you've ever wondered whether what you're feeling is "just you" or actually connected to your hormones, this guide will help you join the dots.

There are some things we whisper about.
And vaginal dryness?
Yep. It’s one of them.
Vaginal dryness in perimenopause is mainly caused by a decline in oestrogen levels. This hormonal shift leads to thinning of the vaginal tissues, reduced natural lubrication, and increased sensitivity or discomfort.
Other contributing factors may include stress, certain medications, and overall hormonal imbalance.
If you’re in peri or menopause and you’ve noticed changes “down there” — discomfort, dryness, pain during intimacy, irritation…
You are not broken.
And you are definitely not alone.
But because no one’s really talking about it openly?
It can feel isolating as heck.
So instead, we normalise suffering quietly.
We brush it off as “just hormones” or “part of getting older.”
Truthbomb 💥
Just because something is common… doesn’t mean it should be dismissed.
During peri and menopause, oestrogen levels begin to decline.
And that shift?
It impacts the vaginal tissues — leading to thinning, dryness, and reduced natural lubrication.
But here’s where it gets interesting…
Your body isn’t “failing” you.
It’s changing.
And with the right support, you can respond to those changes in a way that feels nourishing — not defeating.
It’s not just physical.
This stuff can impact confidence.
Connection.
Desire.
Your relationship with your own body.
And when we don’t talk about it?
We carry it alone.
Lemme break it down for ya — gently, naturally, and without overwhelm.
As a herbalist, I’m a big believer in working with the body, not against it.
Here are a few natural avenues worth exploring:
🌿 Phytoestrogen-rich herbs
Certain herbs may help support hormonal balance by mimicking oestrogen-like activity in the body.
🌿 Nervine + adaptogenic herbs
Because stress plays a huge role in hormonal shifts (yep, your nervous system matters here more than you think).
🌿 Hydration + tissue support
Think herbs that support moisture and mucosal health — inside and out.
🌿 Topical herbal preparations
In some cases, gentle, herbal-based topical support may help soothe and nourish vaginal tissues.
Some natural ways to support vaginal dryness during perimenopause and menopause include:
Herbal support for hormonal balance (e.g. phytoestrogen-rich herbs)
Nervous system support to reduce stress-related hormone disruption
Hydration and herbs that support mucosal tissue health
Gentle topical herbal preparations for local support
(Of course — this is where personalised guidance matters. What works for one body may not be right for another.)
But happy to recommend a herbal protocol in a consultation.
Awareness is step one.
Conversation is step two.
Because when we start talking about this stuff — openly, honestly, without shame —
we create space for better choices.
More informed decisions.
And support that actually aligns with how you want to feel in your body.
You deserve to understand what’s happening in your body.
You deserve support that feels good, safe, and aligned.
And you deserve to not have to figure it all out in silence.
If this is something you’ve been experiencing — don’t just brush it off.
Start the conversation.
Do the research.
Explore your options (including natural ones).
And if you’re curious about a herbal approach?
That’s exactly what I’m here for.
Or simply start by having the conversation with someone you trust.
Because the more we talk about it?
The less power the stigma holds.
Yes, vaginal dryness is a common symptom during perimenopause due to declining oestrogen levels. However, “common” doesn’t mean you have to ignore it — support options are available.
Yes, many women explore natural approaches such as herbal support, lifestyle changes, and topical remedies to help manage symptoms. A personalised approach is often most effective.
If vaginal dryness is causing discomfort, pain, or affecting your quality of life, it’s worth seeking guidance to explore suitable support options.
