But more than anything, I'm someone who's endlessly curious about people and the incredible ways our bodies communicate with us.
One of the reasons I was drawn to herbal medicine wasn't simply because I wanted a new career. It came during a season of my own life when I was rebuilding.
After leaving a toxic relationship, I found myself asking some big questions about the life I wanted to create. I'd spent years working in retail management, but I knew I wanted something different — something that gave me independence, something centred around people, something that allowed me to combine science, curiosity and compassion in a way that could genuinely make a difference.
Herbal medicine brought all of those things together. It gave me a career that never stops asking questions, and that curiosity has stayed with me ever since.
I combine evidence-based herbal medicine with a whole-person approach to women's health. That means taking the time to understand not only your symptoms, but also your health history, lifestyle, goals and the many factors that influence your wellbeing.
I don't believe in one-size-fits-all treatment plans. I believe in thoughtful, personalised care that helps you better understand your body and feel supported every step of the way — because my goal isn't simply to recommend herbs. It's to help you leave every consultation with greater clarity and confidence about your health.
One thing I've learnt over the years is that symptoms rarely exist in isolation. Irregular periods, fatigue, digestive issues, PMOS, perimenopause, sleep changes, anxiety — they're often not separate problems at all. They're different pieces of the same picture.
That's why I never begin with a protocol. I begin with your story. Because no blood test, scan or diagnosis can ever tell me as much as the woman sitting in front of me. Understanding that whole picture is where meaningful support begins.
Your body isn't working against you. It's communicating with you.
Symptoms aren't inconveniences to be ignored. They're not signs that your body has somehow "failed." They're information.
My role isn't simply to recommend herbs. It's to help you understand what those symptoms may be telling us, explain the science in a way that makes sense, and create a personalised plan that supports your health as a whole — because no two women arrive with exactly the same story, and I don't believe they should leave with exactly the same treatment plan.
Alongside my clinical work, I'm committed to continually developing my knowledge so that the advice I offer reflects both traditional herbal wisdom and current scientific evidence.
I believe women deserve healthcare that is both compassionate and evidence-based, and ongoing professional development is an important part of that commitment.
When I'm not working with patients, you'll usually find me reading the latest research, recording my podcast, writing educational articles or enjoying a good walk with a cup of tea never too far away.
I'm a lifelong learner, and I genuinely love translating complex science into something that feels practical, reassuring and easy to understand — because I believe women deserve information that empowers them, not overwhelms them.
If you're looking for someone who will take the time to listen, help and explain, I would love to welcome you to my clinic.
